Sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. She was a fixture of the neighborhood. She also was a surrogate grandmother to our kids when they were little. She was inspirational. She will be greatly missed.

Betty was like a grandmother to me and my siblings while we were growing up, living only across the road from my parents’ farm. She was such a kind and lovely woman who forever left a mark in our hearts, always warm and welcoming whenever we saw her. While we all grew up and eventually moved away, she was never far from our minds. She will be missed dearly, and our memories of her will fondly carry on.

My best memories are of going to the farm with my dad Jim Jacobs to visit aunt Jose and Betty Lou. I loved playing in the barn with the cats and drinking cold water from the no stop running water well. Watching them milk cows was so exciting. So thankful for memories and family. You will be missed. Rest now. Love cindy jacobs

Our Condolences to Betty’s family, it’s true she loved bailing hay into her 80’s and was a joy to watch her ability to do so, she was a great neighbor with a bit of humor who stopped often to say hello while driving by our home on our often stills we taken, she loved yard sales! She is missed.
