Betty passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
She was born September 3, 1931 in Allegan, the daughter of Jack and Sadie (Beagle) Hastings. As a young woman she worked at Gibson Guitar and a cannery in Fennville. Betty was a co-founder of Alamo Nursing Home and worked as a dietician for over 30 years until her retirement.
Betty loved to travel and enjoyed driving. She wasn’t afraid of a long trip. She also enjoyed crocheting, people watching and taking care of others. On February 11, 1950 she married Perry Enos who passed away in 2015.
Surviving are her children, Leroy (Aleta) Enos of Alamo and Robert (Darlene) Enos of Otsego; 6 grandchildren, Alan, Jennifer, Kevin, Susan, Tammy and Tonya; several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bill and siblings, Roy and Bill.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Burial of ashes will be at Alamo Center Cemetery at a later time.

We are so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. I feel so blessed to have worked for and with Betty in my teen years at Alamo Nursing Home. Betty was not just a boss and co worker she was a wonderful mentor. Betty took me under her loving wing and taught me how to be a team player at work and in life. She had such a fun personality! Sorry for your loss Bob, your Mom was a special boss to me for many years at Alamo Nursing home. She had a room next door to my Mom during her short stay at ANH which I thought was ironic. Prayers to you and Leroy.
