Betty J. Potts

Betty passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Life Care Center in Plainwell.

She was born August 18, 1927 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Arlen and Leta (Ellard) Spielgelmyer. Betty worked as a waitress at the Fly Inn for many years. On March 30, 1946 she married Laverine Potts who preceded her in death.

Surviving are her daughters, Rhonda (Jim) Snyder and Jane Dortch; 5 grandsons; a great-grandson and great-granddaughter and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Jean Spielgelmyer.

Burial will take place at Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.

I knew Betty through my sister in law Betty Latta. I worked with Vern for many years. Betty and Vern were two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Our prayers to family.

I remember Bettie as if I just saw her. She used to work for my parents. She never missed any time. She will be greatly missed. LOVE YOU BETTIE
