Benjamin ‘Dale’ Worden of Alamo died

at home surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness. Dale was born
September 6, 1928
in
Pontiac
,
Michigan
. He was adopted by Benjamin and Tena (McAllister) Worden in
Pontiac
on
March 11, 1929
. Dale attended the Pontiac Public Schools. He served in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1949 and was stationed in
Orange
,
TX
. On
July 27, 1954
in
Pontiac
he married Beverly Weydemeyer, who survives. Also surviving are his children and their spouses, Timothy (Jackie) Diller, Vicki (Ted) Hartleb, Judy Worden (Katie Jacobs) and Fred (Kathy) Worden; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. His parents and his stepson, Don Diller preceded him in death. Dale was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #7 and retired in 1991. He was a member of

Bible
Church
. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions in Dale’s memory may be made to

or Hospice of Southwest Michigan.
