Arlene Nichols
Arlene E. Nichols of Plainwell went to be with her Savior on December 18, 2014, at the age of 88, in Battle Creek, Michigan. Arlene was born to Benjamin and Leila (Barnes) Reynolds on March 5, 1926, Battle Creek, Michigan, the youngest of three children.
She was married to Kirk W. Nichols, had three children, resided in Louisville, KY and retired while living in Florida. Arlene enjoyed playing music together with her husband, Kirk, traveling and was active in their Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are her children, Kirk Jr. (Pam) Nichols, Mary Lyn Davis and Tianda Worden all of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Meghan, Christopher, Raylien and Rachaele; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, Bill Reynolds, David Reynolds, Richard Ingle, Donald Ingle, Evelyn Smith, and Joyce Tiller; and a great-niece, Twanette Bronson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirk Nichols; her parents, Ben and Leila Reynolds; brother, Orville Reynolds; sister, Mary Tobey; and a dear life-long friend, Velma.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego. Burial of ashes will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta.
