Anthony ‘Tony’ Walton

Anthony ‘Tony’Walton of Scotts, MI (formerly of Richland) passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.

He was born October 24, 1974 the son of Norman and Laurie Walton.Tony was a 1993 graduate of Gull Lake Schools. He loved working on cars and piecing together projects to make them run. He also enjoyed collected guitars. Tony always tried to make ends meet no matter the circumstances.

He is survived by his family who he loved very much, his wife, Melissa (Stockwell); daughters Allana Walton and Coral Walton; his mother and step father, Laurie (Kurt) Weymouth; step mother, Stephanie Walton; his granddaughter, Elisabeth Cowan and his sister and her husband, Jocelyn (Josh) Vasicek.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, LeAnn Walton and his father, Norman Walton.

Cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Baptist Church, Otsego with Pastor Paul Laborde officiating.

Burial of ashes will take place at a later time.

Contributions in memory of Tony may be made to a fund for his daughters; please make checks payable to his wife Melissa Walton.

Tony- you will be deeply missed. I remember when you were born. I still remember babysitting you when you lived in Richland. I remember a lot of good times over the years with you, your dad, and mom.

So sorry for your loss, Tony was a true friend to Brian, I know Tony missed him. Tony done so much for me after Brian passed away, he was just a phone call away and would do anything for me. Tony will be missed. RIP Tony

Tony was an awesome son in law. He loved his family dearly and would do anything for them or you. He is dearly missed and will in our prayers and in our hearts, forever. God has taken him into heaven with him. His spirit will live on in everyone of us.

I am not sure really what to say here but I am very sorry for your loss, I had a lot of great times with Tony and I have a lot if great memories he will be missed for sure .

Tony I will never forget when I was walking home from school and your Dad stopped in his car and told me he was going to be a dad. He was so proud to be your dad and you were a good son, father, nephew and friend. We all miss you greatly. Love your Aunt Rose
