Anne-Marie Henry
Anne-Marie passed away Friday, June 9, 2017 at Bronson Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1959 in Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Henri and Anita (Lavoie) Touchette. Along with her family, Anne-Marie had owned and operated Chadwicks Kwagama Lake Lodge in Canada for many years. She was an accomplished chef and loved to cook. In her spare time she enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening and dancing. On August 30, 1984 she married Patrick Henry who survives.
Also surviving are her son, Chad Henry of Otsego; step-children, Jarred Henry of Iroquois Falls, ON and Patricia Dawn (Eric) Zior of Matheson, ON; 3 grandchildren and siblings, Emile (Michelle) Touchette, Adrien (Micheline) Touchette, Gerry Touchette, Marcel (Diane) Touchette, Carolle (Gary) Touchette-Manzo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Gabriel Touchette, Nicole Wilson and Aline Kirk.
According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
Her ashes will be interred at her lodge in Ontario.
Anne-Marie will be missed dearly by her family and friends as well as many past customers and guests at the lodge.
Contributions in memory of Anne-Marie may be made to the West Michigan Cancer Center.

So sad to hear of Ann-Marie passing. Growing up just down the road from the Touchette family, I new them all. Ann-Marie was my age and we always had fun as kids. My sincere condolences to the family and friends. You are with God and his Angels. May they bless you with the light of love, Amen.

Anne Marie was a true original! As a long time visitor to the lodge, it was always our privilege to be hosted by Anne Marie and Pat. They always made it a remarkable and rewarding experience. Oh the stories….She will be truly missed by all of us that the Henry’s shared their special place and talents with. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pat and Chad and the rest or the family.

Anne-Marie was a fun loving, kind wife and mother with Pat and Chad. She bravely endured the severe conditions that ended her shortened life. She was very dedicated to serving other people, both at their Canadian Lodge and in Otsego. All who knew her, will miss the fun and kindness that we all enjoyed.
