July 3, 1922
, in Otsego to Lester and Alegra (Marron) Beeman and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was married to Albert Andrus on
December 8, 1947
. From 1978 until her retirement in 1992, she was the secretary for the executive director of Kalamazoo Area Senior Services. Her hobbies included crafting and sewing. Surviving are a son and a daughter, James A. (Deborah) Andrus of Pinellas Park, FL and Jane (Arthur, Jr.) Markle of Plainwell; a granddaughter, Samantha Markle; a brother, Lester ‘Dick’ (Thelma) Beeman of Haines City, FL; a sister-in-law, Cleo Ellinger of
Missouri
; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepfather Guy Ellinger and a step-brother, Harold Ellinger. Friends may meet with the family from 6-8 P.M. Friday at the Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M., Funeral Celebrant Bill Rose officiating. Interment will be at

, Plainwell. Memorial gifts can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
