I have the best memories of playing cards at Pells with Al and Jo. Al would make me laugh out loud every time. He had such a kind heart and loved his family dearly. I happened to be at Mary Jane’s the Christmas Eve he brought her the most beautiful doll house. Wish we could have one of those times back just one more time! Love to all of you!

Aunt Jo, Jenann, Doug, George and families,
I am so sad to hear about Uncle Al. I am keeping all of you in my heart, thoughts and prayers.
“Uncle Al the Kiddies Pal” is what we call this wonderful man. An Uncle to me through marriage, but was as much of a blood Uncle to me and my siblings. Uncle Al always new how to get a crowd laughing, sometimes to tears. I will keep all of these memories close to my heart.
I was fortunate to spend all of my life with this gracious man, and even though through the years we may not have seen each as often, time never skipped a beat. I was always greeted with a smile, a hug & kiss, and my stomach always hurt from laughing for the while that we chatted.
You will be forever in my heart…
“To live in the hearts we leave behind, is not to die”
I love all of you with all my heart & soul, may God Bless you through this difficult time, and I am always here for you…
Lauri

Jo and family, I’m so sorry to hear that Al passed. He sure was liked by the guys at the mill. A hard working man and a devoted Dad. Jo, you and Al were so greatly matched. Both of you could be so funny. I just found out less than a year ago about Kelene. I lost my son Michael in 2009 at 29 years old. That was the hardest time of my life. Knowing he’s in Heaven gives me comfort and I know Al was probably met at the gate by Kelene. A place where there are no more tears, disease and no more good byes.
I’m sending you and Jenaan, and Doug a {{{{{HUG}}}}}.
Our family sure had a lot of relatives working at the Paper Mill…didn’t we? God bless, Debbie

Rest in peace dear Al. I know Kelene was waiting to show him the way home. My favorite memory is at Christmas. Their family plays Bingo and Al would take walnuts and crack them take the nut out and replace it with Money. And of course one nut had the largest amount in it. Such great times cracking those nuts to see how much you won. Peace be with you all. Love you guys Kathy.
