Very sad to have to write this so soon about my boss Allen Dennis, I never thought I would see this day because it seemed he made it through every trial and tribulation and health scare, he will be missed.

He was just getting ready to officially retire, which him retiring changed daily because his business was everything to him, he had a hard time staying away from the office, so finally he had just bought a house out on a large piece of land with a lake to fish, this was where he wanted to retire and relax with his two dogs, I only wish he would have been able to see it all complete.

I will miss his PASSIONATE loud voice LOL, that is what he always told me when I would say “why are you yelling”, he said, he’s just passionate about his business, I did not ever think I would miss hearing KIMBERLY across the offices but now I do.

This man had more stories than anyone I know besides my own dad. He had good words of advice to me over the years and many talks about God and family. Allen Dennis was an open book for anyone that wanted to listen from his childhood to growing his business, we have shed many tears and laughs during his talks, I am thankful I had that chance.

He was also an amazing cook, when he was at the office, he would bring food to fill everyone, and throw the best Christmas parties for his customers and staff.

Allen had MANY friends and he will be missed dearly.

To the Allen family, my deepest condolences on your loss. I have known Allen for 20 years, and over this time I have witnessed Allen’s gifts from God in work first hand. He loved and cared so much, and was such a selfless man, the likes I have never witnessed in my lifetime. He had that infectious laugh that would pull you in, and no matter how bad your day was he would bring you back to center and make you feel better every time. The one thing that will forever stand out to me about Allen was the incredible friend he was to so many. Once you got to know Allen there was no other man that extended the Love to a friend more than him. He was just a loyal loving friend, and I am just so thankful I got to have Allen as one of my best friends in my life, and so sad of his passing, but thankful to Allen for leaving me with all of the wonderful lasting memories. Allen, thank you for making the world a better place, and for touching so many people so deeply. You will be sorely missed by your friends and family. Rest in peace Allen, Pops, and Friend!

We have only grown to know Allen through his stories that he has told our son and our son’s stories about Allen, since he was working out on Allen’s property. Our son was so happy to go out there to work, talk and gain advice from Allen. We tell our son people come into our lives for a reason. We wish he would have had more time with Allen, but also thankful for his time he did have. Thinking of all his family, friends, co-workers and those he touched throughout his life during this difficult time.

To the Dennis family,

Paul and I are so very sorry for your loss. We were neighbors of Al and loved his talks in our driveway. He never got out of his fancy car or truck, but we would talk for awhile about all sorts of topics. He had great insight on business, life, and family.

Always a friendly wave and smile. We were sad when you moved. More sad now that you are gone. Happy hunting in the heavenly skies.

Rest in Peace- Our thoughts and prayers to Al’s family.
