Larry and Wally, I am hurting so I can only imagine how you two must be feeling. Adam was my childhood playmate, I do not have a memory of growing up that doesn’t have Adam in it. I shall miss him forever. I hope during this difficult time you find comfort with each other and the rest of the family that love you two very much.
Your Cousin,
Dionne

To the Massie family: Though he probably did not realize it, throughout his life Adam was creating a wonderful memory garden. He has now left an abundant crop for you to harvest. Fortunately, the more often you visit this verdant place the more there is to reap. Go often to Adam’s special place in your thoughts and heart; he will be pleased to see you enjoying that which he has planted.
Our hearts and thoughts are with you at this difficult and sad time.

My heart is heavy for all of you. I love you boys and I share in your heart ache. My heart goes out to Adam’s sisters I know he loved you very much and was very proud to be your brother. Adam was the first nephew and grandson born into our family. I long to wrap my arms around him and hold him close. I will hold him in my heart as I do all of you. Larry sr. thank you for the loving obituary. I know that my sister embraced him and they are caring for each other again, this time with out any pain or sorrow. You are in my prayers.
With love, aunt grace

Wishing Wally and Larry jr plus the entire Massie Family strength; my deepest sympathy to you.
I met Adam through swimming at Otsego High. He was funny, smart and kind. It is through Adam that I met a majority of my friends in high school; he had so many. Every memory is vivid and seemingly more so today than yesterday. Between Adam and a third friend we lived life; had fun, laughed a lot and were always doing something. Adam made me stronger and more outgoing but I never thanked him enough for that. Into the college years, if days or weeks went by without talking, we always restarted where we had left off…….laughing. Thanks Adam for being my friend.

To the Massie Family
Even though before Friday we had never met you, Adam told us many stories of him and his brothers growing up in Allegan, his senior class trip to Washington D.C, and his time at Western. For the last 7 years that we knew him he worked at BB1, challenge, and finally at Johnson Control. We loved his fellowship, his smile, his kindness, and his gentle spirit. He truly will be missed. Our prayers go out to you Larry, Wally, and your extended family. Please accept our deepest sympathies for Adam’s death.
Sincerely,
Peter, Jean, and Jana
