, to Jay and Laura (Edick) Stratton. From 1950 to 1973 she owned and operated a beauty shop in
Alamo
.
Ada
enjoyed bowling, knitting, sewing and square dancing with her husband, Ray. She loved golfing and reading a good book. She had also enjoyed putting on Treasure Hunts for her family and friends and many
Alamo
neighbors. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Ray Zantello and Dennis Black; a daughter, Juanita VanSparrentak; three sisters and two brothers, Mary Stratton Brown, Earnest “Bus” Stratton, Gene Stratton, Barbara Stratton Oviatt and Laura Stratton Snavley. Surviving are three children, Ramon (Karla) Zantello and Gary (Sandy) Zantello, both of Otsego and Nancy Zantello (David Smith) of Florida; nine grandchildren, Ramon (Barb) Zantello, Mike (Sue) Zantello, Tim (Melissa) Zantello, Randy (Laura) VanSparrentak, Greg (Janet) VanSparrentak, Brad (Cindy Shoemaker) VanSparrentak, Terri (and fiancé Brad Smith) Zantello, Debi Zantello and Megan Robertson; 18 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends may meet the family from

Friday at the
Winkel Funeral Home
Otsego,
where services will be held at
11:00 A.M.
Saturday, funeral celebrant Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow at
Alamo
Center
Cemetery
